Scholastic Reading Inventory (SRI)
The SRI is a reading inventory Jordan School District is using to measure reading comprehension among our students. It is a 20-30 minute computer-based test that is a true assessment of reading comprehension not just an assessment of vocabulary recall. All students are administered the SRI 3 times a year while in middle school. The results of the SRI are used to determine appropriate student placement for reading classes and 7th grade world language classes.
